Conference Venue
The 2nd Management Committee and Working Groups Meetings of the COST Action MP0905 Black Holes in a Violent Universe will be held at the Historical Building La Nau of the University of Valencia, dedicated in 1498.
The renaissance palace is located in the Old Town, at the Calle Universidad 2, E-46001 Valencia
At present this space is used by the Vice-Chancellor of Arts, Culture and Heritage. The building hosts the Historical Library, five Exhibition Areas, the historical Aula Magna and Academic Theatre, a smaller Theatre Room, and rooms for Conferences and Symposia.
The plenary sessions of the Conference will be hosted at the Aula Magna, and the parallel sessions in the lecture rooms area.
How to get to the Conference Venue
The conference venue is located in the historical old town, so it is not recommended to use the private car. The public transport (bus and underground) is convenient, modern, and inexpensive.
