NGC4258

The galaxy NGC 4258 (M106) belongs to the Hubble class SAB(s)bc. Its disk is inclined by 67° with respect to the sky plane. This galaxy has a distance median value of 7.6 Mpc. Two bright jets (invisible in optical light) are emerging from the center towards the east and west. Furthermore, two spiral arms in the north and south are visible at 3.5 cm.
