Banff National Park

Banff Area

Going West from Calgary along Trans Canada Highway, we enter Canada's first National Park, Banff.

Hiking around Banff is always rewarding. This is the Sundance trail.

This place is so civilized! It even has little benches for us to seat when we're tired. It is very nice to sit down and contemplate Nature.

Minnewanka Lake also has some good hikes around it...

... Wich include the gorgeous Johnston Lake.

We can stay here all day... It is so relaxing!

Let's go up in the Banff Gondola!

Here we have a good view of the Bow Valley, where Bannf is located.

Looking South, along the Bow Valley.

Coming down, we have a pretty spectacular ride.
