Annual IMPRS students’ only workshop

1^st IMPRS retreat - May 10-13, 2005

This was the first Annual Students’ Workshop. It was held in “Schloss” Hotel in Braunfels 130 km SE of Bonn to the SE.

2^nd IMPRS retreat - August 28-31, 2006

This Annual Students’ Workshop was held in Berggasthof Lausegger in Austria

3^rd IMPRS retreat - August, 2007

This Annual Students’ Workshop dealt with the topic: “Telescopes and Instrumentation” at took place in Best Western Hotel Diemelsee at the Diemel Lake in Sauerland, Hesse.

4^th IMPRS retreat - May 27-30, 2008

The topic of this workshop was “Quantum Leaps in Astronomy: Past, Present and Future Advancements”. It took place at the Hotel Haus Hainstein in Eisenach/Thuringia.

5^th IMPRS retreat - September 14-17, 2009

The topic of this workshop was “The Hierarchical Cosmos: Stellar, Galactic and Extragalactic Astrophysics”. It took place in Braunfels.

6^th IMPRS retreat - October 13-15, 2010

This workshop is dealing with 6 topics 3 of which are from the “humanistic” standpoint and 3 from the “naturalistic” point of view. The topics are:
