The European Pulsar Network

The European Pulsar Network (EPN) consists of a group of European Institutions whose research interests include pulsars, supported under a grant from the European Commission. The purpose of the EPN is to facilitate the exchange of data and ideas amongst the various research institutions.

Max-Planck-Institut f?r Radioastronomie, Bonn, Germany

Nuffield Radio Astronomy Laboratories, Jodrell Bank, UK

Istituto di Radiostronomia, Bologna, Italy

University of Thessaloniki, Greece

Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas, Greece

Centre de Physique Theoretique, Plaiseau, France

Center for High-Energy Astrophysics, Amsterdam

Fachhochschule Niederrhein, Krefeld, Germany

We have developed a flexible data format for exchange of pulsar data. Dowload the EPN library here or the useful plotting package plotepn here! This format is now used in an on-line database of pulse profiles as well as an interface for our simultaneous observations of single pulses.

We also held two very enjoyable workshops: in September 1995 at Jodrell Bank and in September 1996 at Thessaloniki
