Excellence Research – Excellence Study
The IMPRS for Astronomy and Astrophysics (formerly known as IMPRS for Radio and Infrared Astronomy) is a collaboration of the Max-Planck-Institut für Radioastronomie, the University of Bonn, and the
University of Cologne.
The school offers graduate training opportunities in a wide range of research themes, such as black holes and active galactic nuclei, star formation, the early universe, cosmology, astro-particle physics, and also includes technical topics such as instrumental development in the areas of state-of-the-art detectors for astronomy.
