- Elevation drive gears have been reconditioned, drive speed is
 now 32 and 16 deg/min in azimuth and elevation respectively

- Optical fiber in regular operation for eVLBI, both mk5a and mk5b units
  can be used simultaneously at 1Gbps. 'Bonding' two interfaces
  on mk5a planned to give 1Gbps without packet dropping.

- Mk5A unit upgraded to allow use of SATA packs  (firmware 11.99)

- equipment ready for conversion of mk4 terminal to mk5b
  but 5b operation is currently only  for eVLBI tests

- prototype 2nd generation dBBC being constructed, installation at
  Effelsberg as soon as a unit is available

- New friend of VLBI is Uwe Bach
