This workshop intends to discuss the capabilities of the XCLASS program for HIFI sideband deconvolution. There is sideband deconvolution capability foreseen in the official Herschel data reduction package, HCSS, but should this fail or not supply all the needed options, XCLASS can be an alternative. The workshop was originally aimed at HEXOS, but by now we have participants from HS3F, WISH and PRISMAS as well. It also convers the basics of deconvolution, as documented here, which is useful for everybody intending to use this feature, regardless of the software package.
There will be another workshop focussed on Data Analysis, organized by Cecilia in Grenoble, from March 2-8, 2009.
