Rooms
In Effelsberg there are both single and double room apartments
available.
Reservations should be made in advance. Please call Mrs. A. Franzen
during
morning hours (++49 2257 301 101) or send an
e-mail.
The charges per night and person amount to € 10,--.
Meals
There is no canteen in Effelsberg, but a fully equipped kitchen, where
visitors may cook meals. It is strongly advised that adequate supplies
of food be purchased
before going to the telescope since
shopping
possibilities there are absolutely minimal.

Telephone calls can be made generally against reimbursement of charges.
Note that long distance calls within and from Germany are more
expensive
than in other countries!
Payment
Visitors are advised to pay for lodging etc., before leaving. If the
departure
takes place on a weekend, payment should be made on Friday at the
latest.
