In the very first version of the OBSinp
manual (by P.Stumpff and J. Schraml) there were some (hand made)
plots, which clearly showed the circumstances of the different
possibilities of the coordinate system input with
SBAS. As many observers always have questions specially
concerning the descriptive systems, we placed a digital copy of these
(historical) documents 
here.
It describes the
circumstances for the
descriptive coordinate
systems with SBAS ... D for left-right handed and polar
systems.
These base systems are
also valid for
the current
control system with OBSe/OBSinp.
They are extensively
described in the OBSinp
manual.
